12 HOURS BANKING

Melmuri Branch and Kottappadi Branch works from 8 AM to 8 PM. Customers can enjoy 12 hours Banking through this Branches.

SUNDY BANKING

SUNDY BANKING One of of the Branch, Kottappadi Branch works on Sunday also. Whereas the Bank enabled all the transactions of customers from any branch of the Bank, the facility help the customers of all Branches to do banking on Sunday also.

ATM FACILITY

ATM facility of Bank started on 21-09-2016.Now Bank has 3 ATMs situated at Main Branch, Kottappadi Branch and Melmuri Branch.

‘MY Bank’ Mobile App is a comprehensive Mobile Banking platform that will enable customers to manage their own accounts with incredible ease from wherever they have mobile connectivity. The product will give customers greater ease of use and a higher degree of convenience through an intuitive and design rich interface.   • This Application also helps you to Identify where the Bank’s ATMs are located at the particular location.

NET BANKING

We, Malappuram Service Co-operative Bank Ld, are almost on the verge of opening up internet banking services. With this customers will be able to view their previous transactions and account details. Internet banking is used widely by masses, and has numerous benefits to offer. Nowadays, all banks provide online banking facility to their customers as an added advantage. Gone are the days, when one had to transact with a bank which was only in his local limits. Online banking has opened the doors for all customers, to operate beyond boundaries. Nowadays, people are so busy in their work lives, that they don’t even have time to go to the bank for conducting their banking transactions. It provides many features and functions to their customers, and enables them to view their account balance, view their all accounts summary including share details, etc.

SMS BANKING

The bank is ushering in to the new area of technology. We are delighted to introduce SMS Banking to all our customers. Presently SMS Alert facility is free to the customers.

Eligible customers

Any customer has a SB / CA / CC / OD account in our bank is eligible for this service. The customer can also include his joint account even if the mode of operation is “Either or Survivor” or “Former or Survivor”. In the former case, all the joint account holders have to sign the registration form and the alerts will be sent to their registered Mobile number and in the latter case, the all the account holders have to sign the registration form and the alerts will be sent to the former’s mobile number only.

Registration Process

Customers have to submit the application form by giving their mobile number, account number and alert details. The customer has the option to choose or not to choose the different alerts available.

Security features

Customer will receive the alerts only in the mobile number, which he has registered with our bank. Moreover the sensitive information such as account number is not sent as a whole.

COOPAISA DIGITAL CURRNCY

Post demonetisation, co-operative banks across the country have plunged into huge crisis after the Reserve Bank of India restricted cash transactions. However Malappuram Service Co-operative Bank in Kerala has found an innovative solution to overcome the crisis.

What makes the move unique is that, the COOPaisa facility is universally available to people irrespective of having a smartphone or not. The facility basically works at three levels — for customers having smartphones, for those who have a phone but no internet access and for people do not own a smartphone.

Coopaisa – Payment Mode

  • The bank provides unique QR codes to each trader linked with the facility. A user, who has downloaded the COOPaisa (MyBank)app in their smart phones can simply scan the barcode and complete transaction.
  • It is also possible to make transactions without scanning the QR code, but entering Merchant ID (MID) provided by the bank, which will be displayed at shops. It enables a person to complete the transaction sitting home if he has sent someone else to get the goods..
  • If the customer does not possess a smart phone, the transaction can be initiated by entering his registered mobile number in the trader’s mart phone, after which a One Time Password (OTP) is provided to the customer’s mobile and verified for completing the money exchange..
  • In the third choice, if the customer does not have internet on his smartphone, the COOPisa app still generate a QR code in customer’s mobile screen, which can be scanned by the trader to complete the transaction after verifying a QR code.

Advantages

ELECTRONIC FUND TRANSFER (EFT)

RTGS – Real Time Gross Settlement – This is a system where the processing of funds transfer instructions takes place at the time they are received (real time). Also the settlement of funds transfer instructions occurs individually on an instruction by instruction basis (gross settlement). RTGS is the fastest possible interbank money transfer facility available through secure banking channels in India. The RTGS system is primarily meant for large value transactions. The minimum amount to be remitted through RTGS is Rs 2 lakh. Transaction Timings for RTGS, Monday to Saturday (Except 2nd and 4th Saturday) is 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM.

NEFT– National Electronic Fund Transfer – This system of fund transfer operates on a Deferred Net Settlement basis. Fund transfer transactions are settled in batches as opposed to the continuous, individual settlement in RTGS. Transaction Timings for NEFT, Monday to Saturday (Except 2nd and 4th Saturday) is 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

IMPS - Immediate Payment Service – Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) is an instant payment inter-bank electronic funds transfer system in India. IMPS offers an inter-bank electronic fund transfer service through mobile phones. Unlike NEFT and RTGS, the service is available 24/7 throughout the year including bank holidays.

INWARD REMITTANCE- Inward remittance facility from any other Bank to your own account is available through ICICI Bank. by using Bank,s own IFSC Code.This facility also competable to transfer fund from abroad.

MONEY TRANSFER FROM ABROAD

All the branches of Bank provide Money transfer payments from abroad such as Western Union Money Transfer, Express Money, Money Gram etc.
