Malappuram Service Co-operative Bank Ltd No. F 1829 has registered as a Primary Agricultural Co-operative Bank on 21-03-1962 under Kerala Co-operative Society Act 1969 and started functioning on 04-06-1962. Area of operation of the bank is Malappuram Municipal Area with its head office situated at Malappuram, the head quarters of Malappuram District.
Malappuram Service Co-op. Bank is a ‘Class I Super Grade Bank’ under Audit Classification ‘A’. Now it has 6 Branches and 3 ATMs. All branches and Head Office has ISO certification. Bank implemented CBS solution during year 2012 under ASP model. Earlier during 2006, Bank implemented ABB solution and installed its fist ATM at HO premises.. Bank provides Net banking facility which enable customers for doing their transaction through internet such as Fund transfer (RTGS/NEFT), EMI payment, Mobile recharge, DTH recharge, KSEB bill payment, etc. Bank also provides ‘Mobile Banking’ facility through which customer can view smart pass book, Fund transfer (IMPS/NEFT), recharge mobile phone, utility bill payment etc. by using their smart phone. 25% of the Loan amount stands for agricultural &allied purpose. Bank provides loan in a minimized interest rate.ie.2 to 5% reduced from the rate fixed by Registrar from time to time.
